Hurricane Katrina was a disaster, perhaps one of the greatest that the United States has seen in nearly a decade. Not only was it a disaster in terms of the sheer destruction to property, but also in terms of the human toll the hurricane took in disrupting, and in some cases destroying people’s lives overnight.

Company founder Jeff Foster took his passion for helping people to the Greater Houston Community Foundation and made a donation on behalf of the staff of WebBizIdeas.com to the Bush-Clinton Fund, which supports the victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The Greater Houston Community Foundation serves as the administrator for over half of the fund.

The Greater Houston Community Foundation is just one of the organizations for the greater good that WebBizIdeas.com supports. The foundation has also formed the ‘Kids Of Katrina’ fund, which goes to specifically help the children who were directly affected by the disaster. The Greater Houston Community Foundation has also partnered with nearly a dozen companies to coordinate and provide disaster relief funds for the employees of organizations that were affected by the hurricane.
