McCaron Lake Chiropractic came to WebBiz wanting a new website to help them rank locally in search engines. Their old website was not ranking at all so we needed to do a total overhaul. We also created a content management system so they could update the website daily with news, blogs, and page content.
SEO Friendly Drupal Website
McCaron Lake Chiropractic’s website (mlchiro.com) was made for search engines. The owners can easily update short urls, meta data, bread crumbs, and H1 title tags quickly from the admin area. The entire site was built to comply with search engines and leverage any content the owner could upload to the site.
Page Management
If the client wants to add, edit, remove pages they can easily accomplish this with our customized page management system. The admin will select a URL, H1 Title Tag, Bread Crumb, and Meta Data for each page. From there they can use a slightly modified wysiwyg editor to add content. We modified the editor to allow video URL’s from any video site to be dropped in. The admin can copy and paste the URL and the system will recognize where the video came from and add the player to the page. From there the admin can edit the page like a word document: bolding, italics, inserting images, ect.
Planned Website Architecture
When developing the client’s website our creative director worked very closely with them to highlight important selling features. The owner wanted to make sure they had a simple website displaying their wide range of services and accepted insurance providers. Planning the website before we started coding allowed us to work out any kinks and give them a visual representation of the site. They approved the design and layout of all the pages ensuring we were making the website correctly the first time.
Rotating Images, Admin Controlled
On the homepage of mlchiro.com we integrated a search engine friendly image rotation tool. From the admin area the customer can add, edit, or remove each of the images quickly. They can even edit the caption at the bottom of each image and where each image will link to. All of this is coded in Ajax and CSS to make sure every caption added can be picked up by search engines.
