Glenbrook Lumber

Redesigning GlenbrookLumber.com required some careful planning and customization using Joomla (content management software). Joomla is not naturally search engine friendly, so we used our years of knowledge optimizing websites to create a search engine friendly Joomla design. The design needed to clearly display what Glenbrook Lumber did and show their vast capabilities.

Glenboork Lumber had an outdated website and needed a content management system that was easy to update and search engine friendly. We consulted with the company to learn about their services and figured out the best way to display their services. Once that was done, we put them through the WebBiz Development Process and cranked out an attractive, easy to use, and SEO friendly website.

Website Design was Outdated

Glenbrook Lumber had an old outdated website that needed to be redesigned to show the companies size and professionalism. When people would visit the old website, they could not understand Glenbrook’s capabilities or what they sold.

Planned Website Architecture

Making sure we captured Glenbrook’s vision was critical. The best way to do this was planning their website before building it. We worked with their sales manager to understand all their products and what they wanted to say on the website. After that our website architect planned the entire flow of the website in a wireframe.

New Redesigned Website

The new website was designed using the customer’s colors: red, white, and blue. The main aspects of their business that needed to be displayed were: multiple locations, calls to action, products/services, and establish company credibility. We did all of this by showing their location at all times in the header. Easy to navigate dropdowns were used to view all their products and services. The news section displays upcoming events, like when they were on ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover.
