Intuitive Admin Section
The admin section of pinnacle cart is extremely easy the use. The icons are intuitive and all the drop downs clearly correspond to each menu item. This solution is clearly developed with the end user in mind. Navigating is simple and finding standard actions is an ease.
Another great thing about the interfaces at its clean, modern, and is extremely fast.
Charts and Reports
One of the biggest features of the solution is its reporting and charts. The charts have a great look and feel and the base reports are extensive.
Running a modern E commerce storefront it’s important to have data at your fingertips. Pinnacle cart gives you a great way to visualize what’s happening with your store.
Category and Products
The backbone of any store front on line is its products in categories. Managing categories is into it and contains any element you would expect such as SEO customization
The product in tree and management feature is welcomed. There are more to pull ways that you can modify your products and it’s all laid out in a very friendly manner. Ease of use is key here when tapping to the different product elements. You can also set the SEO features to any product including a customized URL.
Features Galore
If you were to design and E-commerce solution from the ground up you probably would include just about every feature that is standard for pinnacle cart. The feature list is long but not full of fluff if you’re serious about running and E-commerce solution or adding E-commerce to your business most of these features are mandatory.
Another great addition to the feature set is the fact that pinnacle consistently ads and modifies to this feature set.
Themes
Themes allow you to get up and running quickly. The themes included out of the box with pinnacle cart are all modern and designed well. We do wish there were a couple more options but for the most part these give you a great launching pad.
What we wish it did better…
Export of Data
As with a lot of E-commerce Solutions we really wish pinnacle card had a better export feature. Oftentimes you have to export data, mailing labels, or other elements that you want to put in to report. There’s no easy way or one click button to get the data that you’re really searching for. While it’s easy to get the data out of the system you still have to go in there and modify it or cut and paste out elements that you don’t want. While this is a minor annoyance it can become tedious after a while.
Email Management
We’ve mentioned this before with other reviews that we’ve done for E-commerce Solutions. It really feels like a V email management subscriber management is an afterthought to most of the software. While this understandable because email management and email marketing is tough to get right. You most likely will only use the e-mail solution within pinnacle to manage small amounts of customer interactions. Beyond that you’ll want to use a more robust solution such is Aweber or Icontact.
Pricing
Pinnacle cart is deftly at the higher and of any E-commerce solution out there. They break down their pricing and the three core elements. The first is a managed solution based on usage, a hosted solution or you get your own server, or a licensed solution we you have full access to the code base.
All of these are competitive that was the high end of other solutions. Since we’re experts in developing E-commerce websites and we tend to use the license solution. We found this easy the use, intuitive, and very functional.
