MyRespitePlace.com - Custom Directory

We created a simple but useful directory application from scratch. Users could search for palliative care providers via name, state, city, zip, or insurance provider. As they organized their search results the user could click on the provider name to view the details. Pre-populating the database with thousands of providers was a great way to get content on the website before providers started registering.   We created a bulk upload feature to make the process quick and painless.  If one of the providers tried to register, we would recognize them and direct the provider to contact us for their login information.

Due to the target market we wanted the design of this website to be very calming. We went with the white, gray, and blue because studies have shown this color palette to endues these kinds of feelings. The colors combined with a simple search functions make the website pleasing to the eye and easy to use.

To help the website increase in search engine rankings we wanted multiple content mediums. We created a blog where Rascal (the website’s mascot) could blog about issues in the industry, a forum so anyone could voice an opinion and an article section for more in-depth tutorials about palliative care. All of this combined with our SEO tactics are helping MyResitePlace.com climb up search engines.
